Starting Over

In the fields where shadows softly tread,
Where echoes of the past have fled,
A soul begins anew its flight,
Embracing dawn, forsaking night.
Through forests dense and valleys deep,
Where time-bound memories gently sleep,
The spirit finds the strength to soar,
To search the paths not walked before.
Mountains rise with daunting grace,
Yet courage holds its steady pace.
With every step, a heart reborn,
Leaving behind what's bruised and torn.
Rivers winding, pure and clear,
Wash away the traces of old fear.
Turning pages, none too fast,
Writing chapters of the past.
Stars above in vast array,
Guide the seeker their way.
Each glimmer whispers, soft and true,
The world awaits what you will do.
New beginnings, fresh and bright,
Born from the ashes of the night.
A blank canvas, colors blend,
Designs of dreams that never end.
So, with gentle, steadfast hand,
You carve your path across the land.
For life's a journey, endlessly,
And every dawn, a change to see.
