In the quiet moments, a soft farewell,

A whisper of change, a story to tell.

The weight of the past, like stones in a stream,

Slowly released, like a fading dream.

Roots that once anchored, now gently unwind,

As I gather the courage to leave them behind.

Memories linger, both bitter and sweet,

But I know in my heart, it's time to retreat.

Letting go is a dance, a delicate flow,

Like leaves in the autumn, I drift with the breeze,

Embracing the freedom that comes with release.

The fears that once held me, now fade in the light,

As I step into the shadows, embracing the night.

For in every ending, a new path unfolds,

A promise of hope in the stories untold.

So I'll take a deep breath, and with open hands,

I'll release what no longer in my heart stands.

For letting go is not losing, but finding my way,

A journey of courage, a bright new day.
