In the quiet corners where shadows dwell,

Loneliness lingers, a soft-spoken spell.

A room full of echoes, yet silence persists,

In the heart's hidden chambers, it gently twists.

The clock ticks in rhythm, a metronome's sigh,

Each second a reminder of time passing by,

The walls hold my secrets, my dreams left untold,

In the warmth of their stillness, I shiver from cold.

Outside, the world dances, vibrant and bright,

Yet here in my solitude, fades the light.

I watch through the window as laughter takes flight,

While I find my solace in shadows of night.

A book on the table, its pages unturned,

Each line a reminder of lessons I've learned.

But the words seem to blur, my thoughts start to race,

In the depth of this silence, I long for a face.

Memories flicker like stars in the dark,

Familiar voices that leave a soft mark.

But they fade like the twilight, elusive and far,

Leaving me grappling with who we once are.

Yet within this stillness, a flicker ignites,

A whisper of courage that beckons the light.

To embrace the loneliness, to learn from the ache,

To find strength in the silence, the bonds I can make.

For in the depths of solitude, growth can be found,

A chance to rediscover the self underground.

I'll weave my own tapestry, vibrant and bold,

In the fabric of loneliness, new stories unfold.

So let the world rush, let the laughter resound,

In the heart of my solitude, I'll stand my ground.

For loneliness teaches, as shadows depart,

That connection begins with the love of the heart.
